Are you an experienced family assistant able to anticipate the needs of busy children and families? Are you a master of organization, scheduling and calendaring in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment? Do you want to join a team that supports an innovative and loving family? Do you love to have fun and want to hang out with two super cool kids? 


In this full-time, long-term, live-out position you will work with the family's two boys ages 5 and 8 and assist the parents in supporting their education and extracurricular activities. As a family assistant you will manage schedules, research activities, be a tutor and a driver, while always looking for ways to support the children and families. 


Both of the boys are in school during the days. The schedule will be Monday 11am-6pm, Tuesday 12-7pm, Wednesday 7am-5:30pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 11am-6pm, and will require occasional weekend coverage and overnights. This role will also offer amazing travel opportunities. 


The family wants a confident, cultured, adventurous nanny who is dedicated to developing their role with the family. The boys love to rock climb, play with LEGOS and hang out with friends. They will need support in their academic and extracurricular pursuits, and the parents are looking for someone who can keep them on track while being a positive and relatable role model.

  • Care for and engage curious boys ages 5 and 8-years-old
  • Manage schedules and take children to school and their various extracurricular activities
  • Plan enriching activities beyond basic care, including local outings and adventures
  • Household management tasks to include: managing schedules, running errands, grocery shopping, occasional meal prep, children's laundry, general picking up around the house, running point on tasks upon request
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by the parents
  • Provide homework help for early elementary students 
  • Occasionally travel with the family


  • 3 years full-time professional childcare experience
  • Bright, driven and confident interacting with the children and running a home
  • Demonstrates excellent judgement and ownership in their role
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record 
  • Experience teaching or tutoring early elementary students
  • Glowing references!
