Overview

Are you ready to travel around the world to imerse yourself in a new culture? We are looking for adventurous educators to teach in China. This opportunity to build your global connection is open to all candidates passionate about education. There are several open positions in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai, working with students of all ages, from pre-school to high school. The program looks to integrate Western teaching philosophies into their classrooms. 

You do not need to speak any Chinese for this position, and can learn on the job! 

 

All travel expenses to and from China are paid, and an apartment and teaching salary are provided. Teachers will have weekends free to explore all that China has to offer.

 

This position is open to all Adventure Nanny candidates! Start dates are rotating, with the first openings beginning in a few weeks. 9 month to 2 year commitments are preferred. 

 

These positions pay 40k-60k annual salary after taxes. Each school offers different benefits, including room and board in some cases.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and promote the school's philosophy & policies
  • Prepare and follow curriculum, and report daily activities
  • Observe, assess and create individualize programming and document individual children’s progress using assessment tools.
  • Provide reports to parents on their child's progress
  • Build positive and caring relationships with children
  • Constantly speak English
  • Attend weekly staff meeting and training with other staff to coordinate school efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Passion for education
  • ESL or classroom teaching experience is a huge bonus
  • Childcare, pre-school, kindergarten, or classroom work experience is required
