    An exciting opportunity to utilize your background in maintenance and facilities is available with a dynamic and professional family in Silicon Valley. The family has multiple properties and is looking for someone with a minimum of two years of experience in the field to help support the maintenance team in general maintenance management.

    In this role, you can expect to work closely with the family's household support staff to ensure this bustling home and family environment run smoothly.  The successful candidate will not only possess excellent general maintenance, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, but a desire to be an efficient and collaborative member of a team. Security and confidentiality are paramount in this role and the candidate must exhibit their ability and background in upholding these values.

    The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with all general maintenance activities as described below including a working knowledge of carpentry and a willingness to jump in where needed. 

    Hourly compensation is $30-40/hr and commensurate with experience. Other benefits such as health care and paid time off will be offered for the right candidate. The flexibility to travel to the family's multiple properties is key! General schedule will be Monday-Friday. 

    This position is open to all candidates nationwide who are legally able to work in the United States, possess a driver's license and a clean driving record. A certified background, at least three verifiable professional references, and proven experience in the maintenance field is required.  



    • Perform routine preventative maintenance, painting and refurbishing projects, and other general tasks as directed by supervisor. 
    • Maintains tools, equipment, inventory and works in a clean and orderly fashion to accommodate all members of the team and family. 
    • Execute short lead time projects and communicates with Maintenance Supervisor on projects.
    • Works safely in accordance with federal, state, local regulations as well as company policy.
    • Maintains a proactive attitude and alerts teams to any projects needing attendance. 
    • General willingness to jump in and support activities that support the family, team and property. 
    • Is a thoughtful, contributing, and positive member of the maintenance and household staff.


    • Two plus years of hands-on experience in the facilities or related industry
    • Technical working knowledge of building systems
    • Experience with minor electrical, plumbing and building repair, a plus
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Ability to recognize safety hazards and take precautionary measures to protect self and others
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
