After-school Nanny Needed for Elementary-Aged Boys in Brooklyn

Perm Placement

Adventure awaits in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn where two young boys are looking for their dream nanny! The kindergarten and 4th grader both love to play outside, ride bikes and hang out with their adorable wheaten terrier. This busy and loving family has loved and valued their current nanny for several years, who is leaving to start a family of her own, and are hoping to find another nanny to truly become part of the family.

This part-time position will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1pm to 8pm. Every day will provide diversity in your role. You'll regularly stroll through Brooklyn walking the pup, pick up the boys from school and take them to various after school activities, assist with errands and meal prep, and find other ways to support the family unit. If you are looking to be a mentor, tutor and true role model, this is a position where you will be able to make a real impact on the lives of these children.

The older boy has an independent education plan and several sources of academic and social support that the nanny would work alongside. A positive attitude, patience, and experience with children who learn differently will set the perfect candidate up for success.

The family will be providing an hourly rate, consistent part-time schedule, optional overtime opportunities, and paid time off to the right candidate. This position is only open to candidates who currently live within a commutable distance to Brooklyn. All candidates must also be legally permitted to work in the United States and possess driver's licenses and First Aid / CPR certification prior to their first day on the job.
