  • Overview

A loving, creative family of three in Brooklyn is looking for an engaging full-time nanny this spring and summer to care for their one-year-old son. Both parents are professionals in the arts and will occasionally be working from home as you explore all that Brooklyn has to offer with their imaginative and joyful boy. The parents describe themselves as laid-back and liberal and enjoy going to parks, shows, museums and films, and value a nanny who shares their passion for the arts and the outdoors. The typical schedule will be 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday, and responsibilities will also include occasional grocery shopping, accepting deliveries, and formula and food prep for their son. The family travels often domestically for both business and pleasure, including a trip to the UK in July, and are looking forward to sharing their active lifestyle with the ideal candidate!

The family is paying between $15-$20 per hour DOE and will also provide a Metro card if one is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a knowledge in early childhood education.

This position is open to all Adventure Nannies candidates who are legally able to work in the United States, are within commuting distance of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, and have a valid passport and infant/child CPR certification (or are willing to get certified prior to their first day of employment.)

The start date for this position is April 9th, and will continue through the end of August. The son will be going into daycare in the fall, so at this time the family is looking for a candidate available to commit to this 5-month temporary position.
