  • Overview

A growing family is looking to add a nanny and family assistant to their tribe! They have a playful and sensitive 2-year-old son and another little boy arriving in July and need to find someone who can be adaptable as their family navigates these transitions.

This summer the role may involve a lot of family assisting as the mother advances in her pregnancy. Somedays that might include running errands, taking on an organizational task or assisting with meal prep. The family has a housekeeper and so someone who works with her to keep their home neat and tidy would be appreciated! The family is hoping to find someone to join them early this summer to give them a chance to bond with their older son before the baby arrives. The family will have a newborn care specialist join them for the first few months while the family and baby adjust. When the newborn care specialists contract is up the nanny will be responsible for caring for both children.

The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30-6:30pm with the flexibility to stay late occasionally as needed. A nanny who is familiar and comfortable working with parents in the home will succeed in this role as this mother is a busy stay at home mom. This position will start at $20/hr and will pay overtime. The role offers the potential for growth for the right candidate who is invested in making this a long-term position.

This position is only open to candidates who currently live within a commutable distance from Manhattan and have experience working as a nanny in New York City.
