  • Overview

A very loving, caring and open family in Oakland is looking for an engaging and experienced nanny to nurture their rapidly growing son. The cuddly and curious little boy was born February 2018 and the family is looking for their new nanny to start as soon as they find the right person. This will be a live-out position, with a Monday through Friday schedule. The family is looking for someone to work 8am-6:30pm and will often be able to give you an early afternoon off on Fridays.

The perfect candidate will enjoy chatting with the little boy all day, singing him songs, and will be able to make tummy time and other developmental games fun and enriching. The mother is a pediatrician and these first-time parents are very involved and have some existing parenting philosophies and preferences. Having the ability to be a great communicator and collaborator will be an asset in this role. The family values transparency and would be very happy with someone who asked lots of questions to make sure everyone is always on the same page to provide a continuation of care.

This is a fun-loving family! They love spending time together, cooking, exploring nature and new cities. The mother is fluent in Spanish and some language skills would be a perk but are not a requirement.

This family will be paying $25-30/hr and paid time off is being offered for this position. Priority will be given to candidates who are local, however, relocation candidates with connections to the Bay Area and a knowledge of the cost of living are also welcome to apply.
