  • Overview

A warm and loving family of four is seeking a kind, positive, grounded, and capable nanny to join their family! Based in Portola Valley, CA, they are hoping to find a nanny who can become comfortable in their home caring for their 3-year-old boy and 6-month-old girl. They are planning on growing their family in the coming year, so a love of and experience with newborns will be appreciated!

Family is the number one priority in this home and they enjoy spending time with their children and extended family alike. The family enjoys staying active, playing sports, and eating healthy foods! Their eldest son is currently in preschool during weekdays, and they are passionate about providing a creative, nurturing, and enriching space for both of their children to grow and develop; an environment in which they hope their future nanny will maintain. The family hopes to find a candidate who is excited to grow alongside them for years to come as they plan to welcome baby number three in the coming year or two and mom returns to a full-time working schedule.

This bustling family is seeking a candidate who is above all capable and confident in their role as a caregiver. Someone who has experience with younger children, multiple children at a time, and who thrives on multitasking and fostering lasting relationships will be a huge asset in this home! While their eldest is in preschool, a typical day may include caring for their 6-month-old girl, preparing healthy, low-sugar meals, tidying up the children’s areas, and assisting with the children’s laundry. The occasional grocery run or errand will also be appreciated! The family fostered a warm and team-like relationship with their much-loved past nanny and looks forward to developing a similar relationship with their new nanny as they divide and conquer the tasks of the day. This family loves to travel and hopes to find a nanny who would enjoy traveling along with them occasionally throughout the year if they are available to join!

This is a full-time live-out position. The family will be providing 40 hours per week, with a schedule being laid out the week before; hours will always fall between 7am and 7pm and a sense of flexibility will be appreciated in this role. They hope to find the perfect someone to join their family as soon as possible. The family is offering $25-$32/hour as well as generous paid time off and sick days and a nanny vehicle if needed.
