  • Overview

A well-traveled and friendly family of four is seeking an organized, responsible, fun-loving, and Spanish-speaking nanny to join their family and be a positive spirit for their home. The family is currently based in Wellington, Florida, but is getting ready to pack their bags and travel frequently in the coming year for their work. They hope to find someone who’s ready to jump on board, travel, and care for their 2-year-old boy and nearly 1-year-old girl for years to come!

As a family who is well-traveled and always on the move, creating consistency in their home is of huge importance to this family! They work hard to create a loving environment for their two children where they can have a routine even inside their hectic schedule. They have a deep love for animals and own several horses. They also love the outdoors and enjoy introducing their children to these passions, giving them room to explore and grow. Their son currently attends school two days a week while their daughter is busy being a happy, fearless, and opinionated soon-to-be one year old. Their parents travel frequently for work, and come May of 2019 will be traveling all over the globe, from Connecticut to Calgary to Dublin to mainland Europe. They’re ready to find the perfect nanny to join their team on their travels and value someone who has personal and professional traveling experience.

The ideal candidate for this position will be fun and energetic with a deep appreciation for routines and establishing consistency. Since the family hopes to find a nanny who is excited to travel along with them, someone who can maintain this atmosphere in any sort of environment around the world will be a huge asset to this family. Someone who is an animal lover and enjoys taking the children outside to play, learn, and explore will be key! Having experience working with younger children will also be appreciated in order to establish a loving connection with their children. It is also very important to this family that their children grow up learning Spanish, so a Spanish-speaking candidate or someont who has a working proficiency in the Spanish language is a requirement of this position! A nanny who is full of kindness, integrity, and devotion to the role of being a nanny will thrive in this home.

This is a full-time live-in position that will take place 6 days per week with Mondays off. Hours will generally fall between 8 or 9 am until the children have dinner around 6:30 pm. The family is hoping for a candidate who is comfortable working up to 60 hours per week and can be available for the occasional date or work night coverage. They are offering generous and competitive compensation along with two weeks of paid time off per year. A nanny vehicle will be provided if necessary. As this position is live-in, during their time in Florida a separate one bedroom apartment with a kitchenette and washer and dryer will be provided, as well as separate living accommodations while on the road. They hope to find a candidate who can join their family by the end of November!

This position is open to all Adventure Nanny candidates who are legally able to work in the US and possess a valid driver’s license and passport. The family will be focusing their search on Spanish-speaking candidates.
