  • Overview

A professional, loving family of four is seeking a full-time nanny to join them in Mill Valley, CA to assist them in caring for their daughters, ages 3 years and 3 months old.
This dynamic family's ideal candidate is well-versed in developmental milestones for both newborns and toddlers. Their older daughter is witty and has the gift of gab, so someone with the energy to constantly engage with her, encourage her in her adventures, play with Legos, and make silly faces will fit right in with this family! These parents describe themselves as kind, loving and warm, with a direct and transparent communication style. The ideal candidate is educationally-focused (possibly with a background in teaching or education,) warm, open, and organized.
In addition to providing care for their two daughters, they are seeking someone who will be a positive role model for their children and instill the value of emotional intelligence and strong hygiene. Someone with a team-player mentality who is willing to pitch in and create a warm, welcoming home environment will be appreciated as well! The family may request help with errands including dropping off dry cleaning, grocery shopping, and returning packages.

The schedule for this live-out role is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. The family is happy to consider relocation candidates for this role and is open to compensating the ideal candidate for their move to Marin County. The family is offering $25-30+/hour depending on experience. In addition to relocation, the family is also offering sick days, PTO and other benefits like a healthcare stipend for the right candidate.
This position is open to all Adventure Nannies candidates who are legally able to work in the United States, possess a valid driver's license and car (the family will reimburse for miles driven while working,) and are willing to become CPR and First Aid certified prior to their first day of work. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or with ECE knowledge, degrees and/or coursework will be prioritized.
