A very loving, caring and open family in Oakland is looking for an engaging and experienced nanny to nurture their rapidly growing son. The cuddly and curious little boy was born February 2018 and the family is looking for their new nanny to start as soon as they find the right person. This will be a live-out position, with a Monday through Friday schedule. The family is looking for someone to work 8am-6:30pm and will often be able to give you an early afternoon off on Fridays.
The perfect candidate will enjoy chatting with the little boy all day, singing him songs, and will be able to make tummy time and other developmental games fun and enriching. The mother is a pediatrician and these first-time parents are very involved and have some existing parenting philosophies and preferences. Having the ability to be a great communicator and collaborator will be an asset in this role. The family is happy to assist with training on best practices for food safety and germ prevention for the right candidate.

A busy and down to earth family of four on the Upper East Side is looking for a reliable and flexible family assistant/housekeeper/nanny to start in early October. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.
The perfect person will be an all-star at running a household and happy to manage the procurement of groceries and household inventory, prepare meals for the whole family, do family laundry, keep the home neat and organized, arrange for and greet vendors, and assist with anything else assigned by the principals. The household services manager will be joining an evolving household, working closely with their facilities manager and principal of the home as well as the family. They will be responsible for both household management and personal assistant tasks, which will include providing and ensuring high levels of service in regard to housekeeping, child development, meal preparation, entertaining, laundry and wardrobe management, running errands, inventory, and other general administration duties. A candidate who is hands-on and works well as both a team member and a project leader will be a huge asset to this home.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in household management, particularly with managing multiple properties, as well as a desire to work with a family with school-aged children. As a hybrid household manager and personal assistant, they will be serving as a gatekeeper and liaison to the family.
