A typical schedule will be either Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 6 or 6:30pm (the candidate has the option of working a 44-hour work week from Monday to Thursday, or a roughly 55-hour work week from Monday to Friday.) Responsibilities will include school drop-off and pick-up for the elder daughter, planning and cooking simple and healthy meals for both children, doing the children's laundry, and engaging with both daughters, including arranging playdates, prepping for special activities and theme days at school, and light tidying up. This opportunity to build your global connection is open to all candidates passionate about education. There are several open positions in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai, working with students of all ages, from pre-school to high school. The program looks to integrate Western teaching philosophies into their classrooms.  You do not need to speak any Chinese for this position, and can learn on the job!    All travel expenses to and from China are paid, and an apartment and teaching salary are provided. In addition to fluency in English, the family is looking for someone with fluency in Spanish who can speak Spanish to their children exclusively. Their current nanny speaks Spanish to their daughter exclusively and both parents are also conversational in Spanish.  The ideal candidate will be education focused and always looking for enriching activities to engage their children in. The family travels domestically and internationally several times a year, for both work and pleasure, and would love to bring their nanny to explore these sites!   Their daughter will be in pre-school 5 days a week beginning in September (8:30am – 12:30pm).
