A loving, busy family in Boulder is seeking a superstar nanny/household manager to join their team! The family has two children, a 13-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son, and the parents are lovingly divorced with a strong belief in co-parenting and live just a few minutes away from each other.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and dislikes being bored! The position will be 27-30 hours per week and split equally between nannying and household management duties.
Nannying duties will include helping the kids with homework, driving them to and from activities and summer camps, planning active and creative activities with the kids during school breaks, and occasionally sleeping over in comfortable private accommodations at the father's house when he is out of town. This family is active and enjoys sports and the many outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, so the ideal candidate can expect to spend time hiking, skiing, and being active with the whole family!
Household management duties will include preparing healthy dinners for the family 3-4 times per week, organizational projects at both households, assisting with laundry, helping the kids get their bags together for sports practices and games, grocery shopping, and occasionally meeting vendors (i.e. repair people, plumber, landscaper) at the homes. Both parents employ housekeepers, so no deep cleaning is required.
This family has worked hard to set up a respectful co-parenting arrangement that transitions seamlessly between both of their drama-free households and is looking forward to welcoming a new addition to their tribe! The family enjoys travel and both parents travel frequently, both with and without children, and are hoping to find someone well-versed in travel who enjoys it as much as their family does. There is a rescue cat that lives at the father's house.
This is an ideal role for someone who is proactive, laid-back, responsible, energetic, and comfortable with being around high-profile people. A strong preference will be given to Spanish-speaking candidates, as both children are currently studying Spanish in school. The start date is as soon as they find the right fit!
This position is open to all Adventure Nannies candidates who currently live in or very near Boulder, Colorado, are legally permitted to work in the United States, possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and own their own vehicle.
A fun and active family of four is looking for a rockstar nanny to join them in PalmSprings as they prepare to 'make waves' (literally) in a new home in the Caribbean! The mother used to be a nanny herself and is looking forward to meeting a loving, proactive, and flexible nanny. This candidate will be traveling with the family from their PalmSprings home to the Caribbean for 4-6 weeks as they research, house hunt, and enjoy some fun in the sun. The family will then return to PalmSprings to arrange their move and would love to have the nanny accompany them for a second trip to the Caribbean and help them settle in. The family is willing to consider offering the perfect candidate a long-term position if everyone is happy with the temporary situation! Both children, ages 5 and 6, have sensory processing issues and allergies, so the nanny will be asked to prepare healthy, gluten-free meals for the children and assist in their holistic meal plans. A candidate with experience with children with sensory processing issues who are on the spectrum is a plus, however the family's main goals are to find someone with a big heart, patience, and emotional strength. This position will be live-in while in PalmSprings with a private bedroom and bathroom and the nanny will have private accommodations while in the Caribbean as well. Some household assisting such as doing children's laundry during downtime, running errands, sourcing household supplies, and helping the family to stay organized will be appreciated, while the main focus will be on planning activities and craft projects for engaged and active 5 and 6 year olds. PA or family assisting experience would be an added bonus for taking on tasks such as "finding the right kind of cheese at the grocery store," but is not a requirement. This family treats their nannies well as Mom is an ex-nanny herself, and enjoys sending their nannies to the chiropractor or to massages and making sure their favorite foods are in the home. The family is ready to start interviewing candidates ASAP and bring someone down for a paid trial to meet the whole family prior to their start date. The family is looking for someone who can commit for at least 4-6 months, with preference given to candidates who are excited about potentially staying with the family long-term!
Are you a calm and warm nanny who is looking for a long-term role with a mindful and loving family? We are working with an incredible family of four in Somerville who is looking for someone to contribute their experience with child-led education and dedication to a healthy and creative life.
In this role, you will be surrounded by inventive and compassionate people. Mom and dad are excited to raise self-directed, creative, and joyful children and are looking for a candidate who shares these values. Imagine spending your afternoons creating puzzles and games to stimulate curiosity, imagination, and playfulness. Whether playing outside or exploring the city and world around you, the family is excited about a candidate who leaves room to follow their children's innate interests in all that they are doing. The family also appreciates the importance of creating a clear sense of routines and boundaries in which their children can thrive, so someone who can balance this child-led exploration with some structure and schedule will be an excellent fit for this family.
The family is seeking someone who can bring their talents into child care and has a preference toward candidates with educational, art, or musical training. The family gravitates towards a Montessori philosophy and a candidate who is experienced with this type of education will be preferred. The family is exploring language-immersion and would love to find a candidate who is proficient in Spanish to encourage bilingualism in their children. A candidate who doesn't possess the language skills but who is excited and proactive about finding fun ways to incorporate Spanish classes and activities in their day-to-day play will also be a big bonus! Above all, the family is excited about a candidate who brings their own talents and care to the role while being innately attuned to what would be most helpful at any given time and is invested in the common goal of supporting these two growing individuals.
The family spends its weekends outside of Boston near Walden Pond and travels a few times a year to visit an extended group of family and friends in sunny, beachy places. Dad travels often for work and the family will be looking for a candidate who would be open to traveling with mom and children to spend time with their dad both domestically and abroad.
The family is looking to fill out this full-time schedule with a candidate who is interested in either working as an assistant or chef, depending on the skills and interests of the right person. As an assistant, you would manage calendars, help with event planning, book and prepare for travel, and other administrative tasks and projects that make this home run smoothly. The family is happy to train someone on how to support their family in these capacities; you just need the desire to learn and the self-starting mindset to jump right in! Alternatively, the family would be very excited to welcome a candidate who has a dedicated interest in a healthy, largely plant-based diet who would be interested in taking on some of the family's cooking needs.
The schedule for this full-time, live-out position will be Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30 pm, Friday 1:00-10:00 pm, and Saturday 8:30am-1:30 pm. Childcare would be about 3.5 days a week and either assistant or chef work would be 1.5 days a week. The family is excited to have a candidate who can be flexible to help cover one weekend morning a week and one date night. They are happy to work with their perfect candidate to find a schedule that works well for everyone and will prioritize offering two consecutive days off/week.
Hourly compensation is generous and commensurate with experience and other wonderful benefits like two weeks paid time off, one week of sick pay, a healthcare stipend, guaranteed hours and a nanny vehicle or mileage reimbursement are offered.
The start date for this position is: as soon as they find the right person! This position is open to all Adventure Nannies candidates who are legally able to work in the US, have valid passports and are able to travel internationally, and possess a driver’s license and clean driving record!
The family is happy to assist with relocation costs for the right candidate.
A bustling and loving family of five is looking for a proactive and flexible nanny to join their household staff in a 3.5-on 3.5-off rotational role!
In this role, you will be working in tandem with a supernanny and household manager to care for three active youngsters - two girls ages 8 and 4 and a 'super handsome' 18-month-old boy.

The candidate will also be responsible for all other aspects of care pertaining to the children, including children's laundry, straightening up their playrooms, and organizing playdates and other fun activities. The family employs housekeepers, so no deep cleaning is required.
